Anom Suheri (Un) was born on Siberut Island in the Mentawai Islands. He has been guiding foreigners on trips deep into the interior jungles of the Mentawai's for 15 years. He is the chairman of the Siberut Guide Association and the Mentawai Regency Chamber of Commerce, Industry of Tourism, and Telecommunications for 2002 - 2008.
